ITHACA PICTURES PLEASE CROWDSThe Essanay film depicting the beautiful water-falls and gorges of Ithaca and Cornell University and football scenes, was shown to two packed houses at the Star theater last night and is surely a beautiful advertisement for the city. The same film is being shown over all the country. It will remain at the Star for the remainder of this week. The Essanay photographer, T. Wharton, secured some marvelous views of the different falls in the city. The one of the Ithaca Falls is especially attractive. Glimpses of the campus, city, lake and valley are very clear and forcibly portray the many beauties of the “Biggest Little City.” The Cornell football team in action in the Penn State game and a little comedy in which a “frosh” is an aspirant for honors on the eleven pleased immensely. Many faces are discernible at all times. Ithaca Daily News December 1912
